Join us for Youth Art Workshops!

Youth Art Workshops are finally here! The Museum will be hosting three 2.5-hour Youth Art Workshops this year for ages 9-13. Space is limited to 10 participants per workshop. Students will explore different types of media and art forms and get a basic understanding of different techniques. Each student will receive one-on-one instruction in their chosen topic.

Miniature Makers & Tiny Trinkets 

Friday, June 26th 2026 | 9 am - noon 

Join us as we turn big ideas into small masterpieces. We will delve into design principles, finishing techniques, and tool safety as we create a mini tin diorama, book nook, &/ or terrarium. All skill levels welcome. 




Is It Art?: Illusion, disguise & scale

Friday, July 17th 2026 | 9 am - noon 

In this Art Workshop, you will learn about large-scale fake food fabrication. We will use papier-mâché, foam clay, paint, and more to cook up whatever you imagine. No cooking skills required. Just creativity, curiosity, and a serious appetite for fun. 




Cardboard Creators 

Friday, July 31st 2026 | 9 am - noon  

Transform ordinary cardboard into a work of art! We will use the design process to build trust in our own artistic voice. You will also explore different techniques to manipulate cardboard while also learning tool safety. No experience needed, just imagination. Every young artist will leave with a one-of-a-kind creation!
